this arrived a few weeks ago. no message with it, no name, nothing
else in the envelope.

it is signed with one of the twelve keys from the old keyring. i have
checked it myself and the signature is good, which means somebody
still has that private key twenty years later, and decided to use it
now, and decided to send it to me.

i do not know which of those three things bothers me most.

the public keys are in keys.txt, where they have always been. one
of them verifies this. the other eleven do not.

i am not going to tell you which one. verify it yourself, that is what
the keys are for.
